Cem Kâmil Dede

Cem Kâmil Dede, born in 2005 in Mersin, Türkiye, is a filmmaker and director. He began his filmmaking journey by uploading short films to YouTube. The first short film, Once Upon a Time in My House (Bir Zamanlar Evimde) (2023), marked the beginning of this creative path. Since then, Dede has directed several other short films. While There is Still Time to Smile (Henüz Vakit Varken Gülüm) (2025) won the Best Student Film Award at the Springtime International Film Festival and was an Official Selection at the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival. The film also received the Best Low Budget Film Award at the Cineverse International Film Festival and the Luminary Independent Film Fiesta.

Dede continues his film career at Kadir Has University in Istanbul.
