Matt Benton

Matt Benton is an American documentary filmmaker, editor, cinematographer, and paranormal investigator best known for directing the paranormal documentaries The Harrisville Haunting: The Real Conjuring House (2022) and Evil Unearthed (2025). As the founder and lead investigator of the Paranormal Research Unit, Benton combines years of field investigations with immersive documentary filmmaking, serving in multiple creative roles including writer, editor, and sound designer on his productions.
