Θοδωρής Παπαδημητρίου

He was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. He graduated with honors from the Department of Music Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master of Music - MMus with specialization in Music Performance - Orchestra Conducting from the University of Hull, United Kingdom (class Dr Lee Tsang). He holds a diploma in Orchestra Conducting (Thessaloniki State Conservatory, Vladimir Symeonides class), a Cello diploma (Music College Conservatory, Michalis Liatsou class) and a Piano degree (Filippos Nakas Conservatory, Thanasis Bilili class). He also holds degrees in Fugue (Filippos Nakas Conservatory, Evangelia Kikos class), Counterpoint (Filippos Nakas Conservatory, Evangelia Kikos class) and Harmony (Music College Conservatory, Ioannis Barouta class). He has attended conducting seminars with Dominique Rouits, Manuel Hernández-Silva and Michael Dittrich and has conducted concerts in Greece and the United Kingdom.

He has composed original music for feature and short films, documentaries and commercials. He has co-written the composition of film music with Christos Gousios and also with the musical group The Prefabricated Quartet, with whom they have also accompanied live silent films with their own original music.
