Austin Aplin

Austin Aplin is a visual effects producer at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) based in London, England. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he began his career as a production assistant at Digital Domain. Aplin joined DNEG in 2016, beginning as a production coordinator, before advancing to line producer and later production manager. In 2021, Aplin moved to Framestore, where he initially served as an associate visual effects producer and was later promoted to visual effects producer. In June 2025, Aplin joined Industrial Light & Magic as a visual effects producer in London.
