The Fire Barrier (1926)

An irascible and brutal boss, Will King, owner of the Deux Croix ranch, sends his employees back on the slightest pretext. Only his wife resists him. Burke, a bum who is looking for a bad move, shows up on the ranch pretending to be an experienced cowboy.
